We're seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as a Domain & Functional Testing Capability Lead. In this strategic role, you'll drive excellence in functional testing practices, leveraging your deep domain expertise to deliver comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business objectives. You'll lead diverse teams of Test Engineers, Test Data Managers, and Business Analysts, ensuring the highest quality testing services while building strong client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
Lead and mentor high-performing teams of Test Engineers, Test Data Managers, and Business Analysts
Foster a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional growth
Develop and implement strategies for functional testing excellence, driving the adoption of industry best practices
Domain Expertise & Strategy
Establish and maintain deep domain knowledge in relevant business areas, developing testing strategies that align with specific domain requirements
Ensure test coverage addresses both technical requirements and business scenarios, guiding teams in understanding and testing complex business workflows
Test Planning and Execution
Oversee the development of comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring test coverage across all functional areas and business processes
Implement risk-based testing approaches and drive the adoption of behavior-driven development (BDD) practices
Requirements Analysis
Work with Business Analysts to ensure thorough requirements coverage, reviewing and approving test scenarios derived from business requirements
Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases, facilitating requirements clarification sessions with stakeholders
Quality Metrics and Reporting
Establish KPIs for measuring functional testing effectiveness, implementing comprehensive reporting mechanisms
Track and report on testing progress and quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations based on testing results
Business Development & Delivery
Partner with Sales teams to articulate our functional testing capabilities, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in client meetings and presentations
Contribute domain expertise to proposal development, identifying opportunities for service expansion and helping develop testing service offerings based on market needs

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable experience
10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
Strong domain knowledge in relevant business areas, with extensive experience in functional testing methodologies
Proven track record of leading testing teams, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in client-facing roles and business development
