Top Skills Details • Technical Documentation • AWS • NIST SP 800-171 Description • Our client is seeking an experienced Documentation Specialist with expertise in AWS and demonstrated understanding of security compliance frameworks, especially NIST SP 800-171. • As a Security Compliance Documentation Analyst, you will be the cornerstone of our security posture, ensuring our AWS environment meets rigorous compliance standards like NIST SP 800-171. • Your work will directly enable our scientists and researchers to innovate securely, translating complex technical controls into the clear, audit-ready documentation that underpins our entire research platform. What You’ll Do • Translate technical complexity – Collaborate with cloud engineers, developers, and security teams to document AWS configurations, security architectures, and implemented controls, turning technical processes into clear, compelling compliance narratives. • Document for impact – Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation in alignment with NIST SP 800-171 control requirements for all AWS-hosted systems and services. • Gather audit-ready evidence – Collect and organize technical evidence from AWS services (such as IAM, Config, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and KMS) to support control validation and track remediation progress. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
