Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Expert for Consulting and Training Project
Job Description:
Sigma Training Solutions is seeking a skilled Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) expert to lead a comprehensive consulting and training project for a government client. The project involves analyzing existing DEI protocols, developing a multi-year strategic plan, and delivering customized training programs. This is a remote contract role, requiring regular updates and collaboration with our team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct a detailed analysis of current DEI approaches, policies, and procedures.
Facilitate stakeholder interviews and focus groups to gather insights.
Benchmark DEI practices against industry standards and identify gaps.
Develop a multi-year DEI strategic plan with clear goals, objectives, and KPIs.
Create and deliver customized training modules on topics such as unconscious bias, cultural competency, and inclusive leadership.
Provide regular progress reports and a final comprehensive report.
Collaborate with the Sigma Training Solutions team to align deliverables with client expectations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in DEI consulting and training.
Knowledge of best practices in DEI and familiarity with legal requirements.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and surveys.
Ability to create and deliver engaging DEI training in various formats (in-person, webinars, e-learning).
Relevant certifications (preferred but not required).
Prior experience working with government agencies or similar organizations is a plus.
Deliverables:
Analysis report of existing DEI protocols.
DEI strategic plan with KPIs and recommendations.
Training materials and modules.
Final project report summarizing findings, recommendations, and outcomes.
Project Timeline:
10 months from the contract start date.
Budget:
Competitive rates; aligned with project scope and deliverables.
