About the Role

The District Support Pharmacist Manager (DSPL, PM) is an inspiring coach and leader of people, focused on building a team of District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) and Pharmacist Graduates. This role is responsible for identifying and addressing performance opportunities, promoting best practices, and supporting novel program awareness. As a role model for all, the DSPL, PM demonstrates our Heart At Work behaviors and sets the bar for other Pharmacists by their example.

Key Responsibilities


Provide leadership and management to District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) and home store teams, including conducting weekly check-ins, communicating district priorities, and traveling to observe DSPs in action.
Support the improvement of pharmacy performance measures, such as WeCARE, mCC, mPC, and CRS, by coaching DSPs and through consistent follow-up.
Conduct new Pharmacist onboarding, including training on CVS workflow and best practices, and facilitate the transition of new Pharmacist Graduates.
Collect, interpret, and act on feedback from pharmacy teams, and provide additional ad hoc feedback, coaching, and support to Pharmacy Managers, Staff Pharmacists, and Technicians.
Assume PIC responsibility of the home store and lead the pharmacy team during worked bench shifts.


Essential Qualifications


1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Manager at CVS managing Pharmacists and business outcomes, or equivalent retail leadership experience.
Currently employed as a licensed Pharmacist in at least one state the District covers.
Bachelor's degree.
1-3 years prior relevant work experience.


Preferred Qualifications


Completion of DevelopU for Leaders.
Completion of all required training for current role prior to moving into DSPL role.
Doctorate.
3-5 years prior relevant work experience.
