Job Summary

The District Performance Coordinator - Pharmacy Operations (DPC) is a critical support partner to the Pharmacy District Leader (DL, RX) and Market Support Pharmacist Leader (DSPL), providing insights to help drive pharmacy location-level performance. The DPC will have various responsibilities, including managing pharmacist scheduling and payroll, overseeing immunization center scheduling, and performing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities


Manage pharmacist scheduling and payroll for the district, including collaborating with the DSPL to ensure that Market Support Pharmacists (DSPs) are scheduled appropriately to support pharmacy operations
Oversee immunization center scheduling for flu season, including inputting facilities into the scheduling tool and checking the scheduling tool daily to ensure adequate coverage
Perform administrative tasks, such as cost reconciliation, store supply ordering, and HR ticket entries
Pull, organize, and analyze reports to highlight district and individual pharmacy opportunities for DL, RX, DSPL, and PMs
Follow up on exceptional issues, such as exception reporting, CRS reviews, and IT/service ticket escalations
Manage the schedule and email requests for the DL, RX while they are engaged in store visits
Act as a change champion for the district, liaising with CSC partners to track and monitor progress on implementation of pilots and new program rollouts


Essential Work Obligations and Responsibilities Include:


Set and maintain pharmacist schedules for stores in the district, including openings list and shift coverage, DSP pharmacist scheduling, pharmacist vacation approvals and coverage coordination, and sick call coverage
Support DL, RX administrative requirements, as needed, including cost reconciliation, store supply ordering, HR ticket entries, TempAlert outings, HR Review, pharmacist vacation approvals, and mileage entries
Manage DL, RX schedule and inbox to ensure timely follow-up on all urgent matters, utilizing judgment to independently address issues when possible, and escalate when required
Pull, control, and analyze store- and district-level pharmacy reports to help identify potential opportunities across the market
Support staffing for the district, as needed, including opening and maintaining STARSource orders, evaluating candidates for excluded (RPh) and hourly (Rx Professionals) roles, and attending career fairs/recruiting events
Travel to various parts of the market, as needed, with the DL, RX or independently to support pharmacy operations and planned/spontaneous events


Requirements

Essential Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree required; Associate's degree preferred
Pharmacy Professional licensure/certificate obtained no later than 90 days in job
2+ years of experience in a retail or professional setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


Preferred Qualifications:


Pharmacy Professional experience strongly preferred
Familiarity and experience with mySchedule and Workbrain or other scheduling/time and attendance/payroll systems highly preferred
