Full job description
The Role :
Provide support as a key point of contact with the Amphenol Distribution Network. Responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our channel partners as well as the Amphenol Regional Distribution Sales Management team. Manage KPI reporting for the channel such as POS, inventory, bookings. Assure appropriate and timely information is provided for proactive sales growth and distributor support on a day-to-day, as well as strategic, basis.
key responsibilities :
Provide analysis on projects to optimize channel network, pricing and competitive advantage decisions as it applies to distributionAssist in generating monthly sales pipeline to support orders budgetProvide monthly reports and analysis on POS, inventory and bookingsGenerate quarterly product profiles across multiple products to support proper inventory alignmentPrepare data and analysis to support quarterly business reviews with channel partnersPrepare distribution related content for Amphenol Operations Reviews, Budget and Strategic meetingsDevelop relationships with Amphenol Regional Distribution Sales Managers and Distribution partners through training & visitsParticipate in internal Amphenol distribution meetingsCoordinate distribution of training materials, programs and systemsOrganize MARCOM plans with distribution channelDevelop understanding of ship & debit process and exposureContractual return administration and discrepancy resolution

The key skills and qualities of a Distribution Specialist at Amphenol :
Strong analytical and interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to develop a working knowledge of the Amphenol Distribution networkProficiency in AS400 system tools, Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and data analysisProlonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer usage
