Dispatcher/Photographer
American Incident Alerts is looking to fill volunteer dispatcher and photographer openings. This will involve posting CONFIRMED and Active Emergency incident alerts into the facebook page using a standard format. Dispatchers will need access to a police scanner or have the ability to stream an online feed from our provider. Also acess to the smartphone and computer app Zello is a HUGE plus but not required
Training will be provided for this job
The photographer will take pictures and/or video of active emergency incidents from a SAFE distance and while following orders from on scence responders. Again training will be provided.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Have a facebook profile
2) Have online access at all times
3) Have access to either a police scanner or be willing to stream an online feed from our providers
4) Understand that there is NO pay for this job.. your goal is to help alert the public of major incidents
5) Photographers will undergo additional training in scence safety
