You will utilize various transportation management systems to assist customers with inquiries, track shipments, and resolve issues efficiently. Responsibilities
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring excellent phone etiquette at all times.
• Utilize AS400 and Oracle Transportation Management systems to manage customer accounts and track shipments effectively.
• Assist in data entry tasks related to freight management and fleet operations.
• Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues related to transportation management systems and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the database.
• Provide support in logistics planning by leveraging GIS tools when necessary.
Experience
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in data entry and strong analytical skills to assess customer needs effectively.
• Knowledge of freight operations and fleet management practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
