Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely delivery of freight, and maintaining effective communication between drivers and clients. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in transportation management systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate and schedule transportation activities for freight delivery.
• Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routes and ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Analyze data related to supply chain and transportation planning to improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including shipping & receiving documentation.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders via phone and email, ensuring excellent phone etiquette at all times.

Experience
• Proven experience in dispatching or a similar role within the logistics or transportation industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with freight operations, including shipping & receiving processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations quickly.
• Proficiency in using various software applications related to transportation management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clear interactions with team members and clients.
