Position: Senior Attorney or Legal Academic
Type: Part-time, project-based
Compensation: $110ā$140/hour
Duration: 4ā6 weeks
Commitment: ~5 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
ā¢ Review legal documents to confirm alignment with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
ā¢ Validate content related to ABLE accounts, guardianship, and special needs trusts.
ā¢ Ensure correctness and clarity on Medicaid eligibility and SSI application processes.
ā¢ Provide expert feedback to improve dataset quality.
ā¢ Collaborate asynchronously and meet all deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
ā¢ 10+ years of experience in special needs law or related academic fields.
ā¢ Expertise in trust structures and disability benefits law.
ā¢ Advanced understanding of Medicaid and SSI regulatory standards.
ā¢ Excellent analytical and legal writing skills.
ā¢ Strong detail orientation.
