Director, Workday & HRIS

The Global HRIS Director will be responsible for the support, development and continued implementation of Human Resources technology strategies and methodologies to meet the business needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own and manage Workday for the Perseus Division globally within a shared Workday environment; collaborate with other tenant owners to collectively govern Workday while ensuring Perseus-specific requirements and goals are achieved. Ability to identify issues, apply judgment to find proactive solutions within our HR system.

Document and maintain accurate and thorough HRIS end-user processes and procedures; and ensure training is provided to end-users across the organization.

Lead strategic planning for Perseus within the shared Workday tenant; ensure alignment with division priorities and global compliance.

Provide HCM user support through documentation, developing and facilitating training, and creating supporting materials and reports as required.

Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with HR functional leads to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality.

Oversee configuration decisions, integrations, and enhancements for Perseus within the shared Workday tenant; influence cross-divisional governance and standards and lead technical execution on deliverables for upcoming initiatives.

Maintain HR data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy.

Work closely with the Payroll Team to ensure Workday feeds accurately to Payroll and to Benefit integrations, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.

Partner with other Workday Directors/Managers across divisions to ensure consistency in governance, release cycles, and tenant strategy while advocating for Perseus needs. And Collaborate with IT and other departments as necessary.

Maintain awareness of Workday future releases / drive roadmap alignment for Perseus, and the potential impact of those plans on current and future Workday functionality. Manage reporting, dashboards and Workday analytics, developing standardized reports to be used on an ongoing basis.

Manage vendor relationships for Perseus participate in enterprise-level governance discussions with other tenant owners.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years in HR technology leadership; proven experience managing Workday globally within a division of a multinational organization; expertise in multi-tenant governance and collaboration.
Workday Pro certification in one or multiple HCM modules, preferably in Talent / Performance Management, Time & Attendance and Advanced Compensation, or related experience.

Well versed with Workday HR subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process design, data transmission (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting support

Experience in designing and prototyping, testing and implementing practical HR business solutions.

Solid understanding of Human Resources processes and procedures with a broad knowledge of all aspects of human resources management systems.

Experience maintaining data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy.

Demonstrated experience with successfully introducing change into an organization through the implementation of systems.

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only):
The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$249,064.20 - CAD$304,411.80 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary based on job-related factors, including work location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant considerations.
