Director, Vendor Management
Description:
Kroll seeks a Director of Vendor Management to oversee key vendor relationships.
Responsible for vendor performance, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
Leads a team to support vendor management initiatives and align with business objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in vendor management or procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
Experience in managing a team of vendor management professionals
Knowledge of vendor management best practices and industry trends
Clear thinker who anticipates and develops strategies for anticipating future consequences and trends
Cope with change and work effectively without having the total picture
Clearly delineates responsibilities and sets clear objectives and measures
Quickly grasps the essence and the underlying structure of new situations and problems
Experience in designing and deploying performance management processes and systems
Knows how organizations work; knows how to get things done through formal channels and the informal network
