You will work closely with our team to establish strong relationships with key clients, including Costco, and provide valuable insights into consumer profiles and trends. This role requires a unique blend of sales, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement long-term sales strategies and annual sales plans that align with our business objectives * Establish and maintain strong relationships with Costco buying management and other key clients * Provide insights into consumer profiles and trends to inform sales strategies and product development * Set annual and monthly sales objectives and track progress against targets * Collaborate with the Costco GMM to develop regional event volume strategies and address discrepancies in expected volume * Identify and address opportunities to improve sales performance and implement changes to adjust volume back on track * Develop and oversee the implementation of new programs and services for Costco and its vendors **Essential Qualifications** * Proven experience in a sales leadership role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets * Experience in collaborating with large retail partners, including Costco * Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and lead cross-functional teams * Strong sales and negotiation skills, with excellent relationship-building abilities * Strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights * Creative problem-solving skills, with effective communication and presentation skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in managing relationships with major retailers, including Costco * Proven ability to drive business growth and improve sales performance * Strong understanding of the retail industry and market trends * Experience in developing and implementing new programs and services for clients **Education Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field **Experience Requirements** * Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets * Experience in managing relationships with major retailers, including Costco **Career Growth and Development Opportunities** As a Director of Sales Strategy and Customer Development at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to influence business direction and shape the future of sales strategies.
