What you’ll do as a Director of Construction
Integrate Safety Practices and Quality Standards across all Operational Activities
Support/Direct/Monitor/Lead Project Management and Construction Operations for multiple offices or markets as assigned
Execute assigned projects on time and under budget, to our customer’s satisfaction
Develop and implement effective construction management strategies and drive profitable growth
Implement construction activity to increase productivity and project delivery goals
Ensure high levels of performance
Ensure customer satisfaction
Manage subcontracting resources, with accountability for subcontracting compliance and quality of work performed
Perform any other job duties associated with a senior leadership role as assigned
What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
12 years of construction management experience, preferably in telecommunications
Successfully led construction, engineering, and business functions at a high-growth telecommunications company, preferably with AT&T, Lumen, and Verizon
Consistent record of accomplishment within a leadership role
Proven skill in developing and coaching team members to maximize their capabilities and skill
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a relevant career field
Must be willing to travel domestically 50–75% of the time
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, use keyboard and mouse
Occasionally: use portable ladder, work in confined spaces, and climb stairs
