Lessen recently acquired SMS Assist, an industry-leading facilities maintenance technology and delivery company. The new combined national footprint will serve more than 250,000 properties, facilitate approximately 2.5 million repair and maintenance orders, and complete nearly 20,000 renovation and turn projects per year. Lessen has quickly evolved from exciting startup to valued partner, delivering scalable and turnkey property services to our clients.The Director of Marketing manages day to day operational activities of the marketing department. They will be responsible for partnering with sales leadership to support development and execution of a strategic marketing plan that includes sales enablement, digital marketing, content marketing, thought leadership, events management, industry partnerships, product marketing, and more. What You'll Do: Partner with sales to understand customer segmentation and specific account targets; help build and support execution of a multi-tiered ABM strategyCollaborate with sales and other marketing team members to oversee execution of marketing campaigns Work cross functionally with other departments (Product and Operations) to determine relevant marketing needsExecute a strategic roadmap that includes multiple initiatives across key marketing channelsOversee marketing operations and reporting and quantify key metrics and ROI across various marketing channelsOrchestrate event marketing initiatives for both in-person and virtual experiencesDetermine specific marketing automation tools that can be leveraged throughout the teamSupport the company website, blog, and all social channels as neededApprove and oversee partnerships with industry and third-party partners as neededIdentify, prioritize, and direct the creation of critical sales enablement assetsSupport design, scope, and build of the annual budgetPrioritize changing priorities of the organizations initiatives as needed Help identify trends and oversee competitive intelligence initiatives, coordinating with the team·Foster a positive team environment Role Specific Skills: Knowledge of various marketing channels (emails, social, paid, direct mail, SEO, etc.)Computer Skills: Advanced proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointSystem Experience: Experience with WordPress, Google analytics and the top social channels, Adobe, Social tools, Salesforce, HubSpot, and other marketing automation toolsPeople Management Skills:Advanced proficiency in building, growing, and developing a team; including department structure design and resourcingAdvanced proficiency in all people management processes, including recruitment, performance management and rewardAdvanced proficiency in coaching and developing individual team members to reach their potentialProficient in engaging multiple teams through communication, processes, personal impact and influence You Should Have: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Writing, Business Administration, or equivalent10 or more years of experience in a marketing function (sales enablement / sales support function)5 or more years of progressive management experience required Additional Information Why Lessen:· Competitive compensation· Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability options· 401K retirement savings plan· Paid vacation, federal and floating holidays· Maternity/Paternity Pay· Career advancement opportunities· All the tools you’ll need to be successfulLessen is intentional about attracting, developing, and retaining amazing talent from diverse backgrounds.
