Director of Finance & Corporates Services

Remote Full-time
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on finance and operations leader to join our Executive Leadership team as Director of Finance & Corporate Services. This role is ideal for someone who has helped build and scale a startup or high-growth organisation and is excited by the challenge of creating structure, systems, and clarity in a fast-evolving environment.
Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead the organisation’s financial strategy, operational infrastructure, and governance as we continue to scale internationally. You will operate as a strategic partner to leadership while remaining close to execution — building processes, improving visibility, supporting decision-making, and ensuring the company is positioned for sustainable growth.
This is a broad and high-impact role spanning finance, analytics, legal, people operations, and administration. We are looking for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution and who has experience operating at a Director or VP level in dynamic, growth-oriented environments.
What you’ll do
Shape our financial strategy and performance
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.

Create and manage a multi-year roadmap for building our financial infrastructure.

Advise the executive team and board on performance, risks, and the impact of strategic decisions.

Build clear KPI frameworks, dashboards, tools, and processes to improve unit economics.

Oversee accounting, cash flow, and compliance.

Strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and reporting standards.

Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management
Oversee legal, tax, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Manage external counsel, auditors, and key partners.

Structure and negotiate critical contracts and vendor agreements.

Anticipate and mitigate financial, operational, and data risks.

Act as a trusted partner to investors and key stakeholders
Support board reporting and investor communications.

Support due diligence and strategic transactions.

Build strong relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and regulators.

Ensure transparency, credibility, and high-quality financial disclosures.

Collaborate cross-functionally with other senior leaders to drive organisational success.

Bring financial and operational insights to the executive leadership team to inform strategic plan and key decisions.

Strengthen and scale our internal operations
Oversee people operations, payroll, and core policies.

Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organisational design.

Improve systems, tools, and administrative processes.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

What success looks like
In your first month, you’ll build a deep understanding of our business model, financial health, and current systems. You’ll form strong relationships with the leadership team and assess where we stand across finance, legal, and administration.
Within three months, you’ll present a clear roadmap for improvement, deliver early high-impact wins, and bring greater clarity to our financial and operational performance.
Within six months, key initiatives from your roadmap will be underway and already driving measurable results.

Experience in international or multi-entity environments.

Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-changing environment.

Knowledge of carbon markets is a plus.
