Director of Finance

The RoleWe are seeking a Director of Finance to take ownership of Healthy Labs’ day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and planning. This role will be central to building discipline across budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis while partnering closely with the VP of Finance and executive leadership team. The Director of Finance will be both strategic and hands-on, ensuring accuracy and insight without unnecessary bureaucracy. Heavy analysis on data science and rigorous, data first approach to working with the business.Develop reporting that provides actionable insights for leadership and the board.Support working capital management, including media spend vs. receivables timing.Strategic FinanceAssist VP of Finance with scenario modeling, board materials, and lender reporting.Drive budgeting process and provide variance analysis vs. actuals.Help evaluate growth opportunities, partnerships, and new business lines.Team & SystemsManage and mentor a small but growing finance team.Improve finance systems and processes, ensuring scalability and SOC 2 alignment where required.Partner cross-functionally with the GM, CTO/CPO, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between finance and operations. What you’ll bring! 5–10 years of progressive finance experience, ideally with time in high-growth companies (media, lead gen, or insurance experience preferred).Strong technical finance and accounting background; CPA or MBA preferred but not required.Hands-on experience with FP&A, cash flow management, and financial operations.Demonstrated ability to improve processes and controls in a lean environment.Excellent Excel / financial modeling skills; comfort with Sage Intacct, Ramp, Bill.com, and similar tools.Strong communicator with ability to present insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Low-ego, entrepreneurial mindset: willing to roll up sleeves while scaling discipline.
