Role Overview Our client is seeking a Director of Events to architect and execute their comprehensive events program. This senior-level position will involve identifying strategic opportunities, managing complex logistics, and ensuring that every event not only resonates with the audience but also contributes significantly to business growth. Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage a comprehensive events strategy to identify high-value opportunities ranging from intimate dinners to large industry conferences. • Oversee end-to-end event execution, including researching opportunities, managing submissions, negotiating contracts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring flawless execution. • Represent the organization as a speaker at industry events, driving brand awareness and positioning the leadership team through engaging presentations. • Design and implement multi-channel promotion strategies to maximize booth traffic and demo conversions. • Recruit, train, and manage brand ambassadors and event teams to ensure passionate representation of the brand at events. • Drive on-site excellence by owning the complete experience from setup to teardown, focusing on demo bookings and meaningful conversations. • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyze post-event performance and continuously optimize the events playbook for maximum impact. Qualifications • 5-7 years of experience in field marketing, events, or experiential marketing, preferably within B2B SaaS or high-growth technology sectors. • Proven success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder events that yield measurable business outcomes. • Experience speaking at public forums or strong presentation skills to confidently represent the organization. • Ability to collaborate across functions, working closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and executive teams. • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in tactical execution of event logistics. • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, able to manage multiple events concurrently. • Willingness to travel frequently and work non-standard hours as required during events. • A deep passion for events, viewed as a critical driver of business success.
