Key Responsibilities
As our Director of Data Science & Analytics, you will be entrusted with leading and developing a high-performing analytics team while scaling the function efficiently according to our strategic growth plans. Your responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and nurture a high-performing analytics team, identifying top talent, providing mentorship and training, and defining the team's goals and objectives in alignment with the company's overall strategic direction.
Talent Acquisition: Identify, recruit, and retain top-level analytical talent to build a world-class data science function that supports our evolving business needs.
Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product features, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement, ensuring data-driven decision-making at every level.

Essential Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record of delivering impactful analytical insights. The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience: 3+ years in leading product and customer analytics, experimentation, and insights within global top-tier technology companies, preferably in e-commerce or retail environments.
Leadership Experience: 3+ years in a management role, specifically in building and leading data science and analytics teams from the ground up or scaling existing functions.
Proven Results: A demonstrated history of delivering successful insights, driving measurable business results, and facilitating continuous product improvement through data-driven strategies and experimentation.
Technical Proficiency: Strong capability in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools including Python, R/SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
Cross-Functional Experience: Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
Executive Presence: Prior C-level/Executive Board exposure with experience contributing to and engaging in-depth discussions with C-suite partners.
