Director of Data and Analytics
Join RAS to lead the strategy and execution of enterprise-wide data initiatives and make a significant impact through data-driven decision-making! We are seeking a dynamic individual with experience in the insurance industry and a talent for interpreting data that drives business decisions and results! The Director of Data and Analytics will oversee business intelligence, data architecture and management, governance, data science, , artificial intelligence, and data reporting to ensure business decisions are informed by high-quality data. This role will work to evangelize data-centric decision-making to help departments achieve goals. The Director of Data and Analytics will lead a group of IT employees to achieve high performance. This position provides the flexibility of a hybrid or home-based work arrangement based on residence. The candidate must reside in one of the following states: South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, or Wisconsin. Candidates located in Sioux Falls will follow a 3 days in-office and 2 days remote schedule. What we are looking for: • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of progressive business analytics experience or a master's degree with at least 5 years of progressive business analytics experience. • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role. • Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is required. • Proficiency in complex technical designs, architecture, decision-making, and articulating product visions/roadmaps is essential.
