Job Summary
The Director of Data Analytics will be responsible for leading the development of a set of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. This includes defining metrics, leading the development of the data pipeline and dashboards, and reporting progress towards our goals to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, with experience in SQL, Python, and big data tools. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving business issues, developing business cases, and communicating insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a set of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives
Define metrics and lead the development of the data pipeline and dashboards
Report progress towards our goals to senior leadership
Identify and resolve business issues, and develop business cases for projects and initiatives
Communicate insights to stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners
Lead a team of analysts and provide guidance and support
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics)
Capability in SQL, Python, and big data tools (e.g., Hive)
Capability with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and scheduling/workflow tools (e.g., Wind current)
Experience with data visualization and communication
Experience leading a team of analysts
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field (e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics)
Experience with AI and data science techniques
Experience with cloud-based data platforms
Skills and Competencies:
