You can help us fulfil our vision The Role â¨Weâre looking for a Director of Data to lead Stuartâs data function and bring our data strategy to life. Youâll own and operationalise a vision where anyone at Stuart can access insights within minutes, teams can experiment and deploy models within days, and data products become a revenue driver. Youâll lead a data organisation comprising data platform engineering, analytics engineering, data science, ML engineering, and analytics.This is a high-impact high-visibility role. Youâll report to our VP of Product & Data, Alexis Fabre Ringborg, and work closely with leaders across Product, Engineering, Revenue, Operations and Finance. What will I be doing? Shape and deliver the data strategy: Translate Stuartâs data vision into a clear strategy and roadmapDrive executive alignment and company-wide buy-in for this roadmapLead delivery of the roadmapBuild a scalable, modern data organisation:Lead the transition to an organisation that enables autonomy, consistency, and speedAlign platform, enablement, and domain-specific teams under a unified structureOversee high-quality, impactful delivery:Supervise execution across data platform, analytics engineering, embedded analytics, ML, and data scienceEnsure delivery is aligned with company OKRs, accelerates experimentation, and improves the quality and speed of data productsPromote responsible data practices: scalable, secure, and compliantDrive Stuartâs data culture:Boost data literacy and business metric awareness across the organisationOperationalise self-serve capabilities and reduce reliance on central teamsImplement governance processes for data ownership, documentation, and qualityRepresent the data function in company leadership forumsLead and grow a high-performing team:Manage a cross-disciplinary team with direct reports across all data specialtiesDefine staffing plans and recruit key roles to support growthCoach, retain, and grow talent across levels and specialtiesEstablish rituals to enable cross-functional alignment, proactive opportunity identification, and data excellence What do we need from you?
