Director of Business Development – Remodel & Special Projects

Remote Full-time
Job Description: • Identify and close enterprise-level, $1M+ contracts specifically for multi-site painting, flooring, and interior refresh projects. • Target key decision-makers who oversee Capital Expenditures (CapEx) and brand-standard updates. • Analyze client portfolios to recommend lifecycle-based refresh programs that protect their assets and enhance customer experience. • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of complex projects that involve 50 to 1,000+ sites across North America. • Collaborate with estimating teams to provide accurate bids on complex finishes. • Serve as the face of BrandPoint at major trade shows, positioning the company as a premier partner for trades. Requirements: • 7+ years of experience winning $1M+ contracts in the facilities, commercial real estate, or construction industries. • Fluent in the language of General Contractors and Facility Directors, including lead times, crew scheduling, and the importance of a flawless 'Punch List'. • Strong relationship-building skills and persistence required to navigate long sales cycles (6–18 months) typical of large-scale remodel rollouts. • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot) and ability to read floor plans or architectural drawings is a major plus. • Willingness to travel up to 50% to walk sites with clients, finalize project scopes, and close major deals. • Deep knowledge of commercial painting logistics and operational constraints. • Familiarity with flooring types and their complexities, including moisture mitigation and logistics of occupied spaces. • Understanding light remodels, including fixture installations and minor carpentry. Benefits: • Executive Compensation: A competitive base salary coupled with an aggressive, uncapped commission structure specifically tailored for high-ticket project wins. • Values-Driven Culture: We live by our core values: Integrity, Improve, Perform, Grow, and Serve. We aren't just a vendor; we are an extension of our clients' teams. • Comprehensive Benefits: A full benefits package (Medical, 401k, etc.) within a supportive, fast-paced environment where 'Performance' is rewarded and 'Growth' is a daily goal.
