HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to drive strategic growth within the DoD Fourth Estate market. The successful candidate will lead long-term strategic campaigns to achieve growth objectives, focusing on targeted customers within the DoD Fourth Estate.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant progressive experience, or Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant progressive experience, or High School Diploma or equivalent with 14 years of relevant progressive experience.A minimum of 10 years of experience in the DoD Fourth Estate market, managing or working on projects related to military technology, weapons systems, sensor systems, intelligence systems, cybersecurity, or other national security areas.Strong understanding of government contracting procedures.A minimum of 5 years of successful business development experience in the U.S. Defense Industry, demonstrating measurable growth through proactive strategies that led to a measurable increase in sales revenue and market penetration.Expertise in verbal and non-verbal communication, including active listening, clear articulation, adapting to various audiences, and public speaking.
