Position Overview:

POST UP NYC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Brand Partnerships & Sponsorship Sales to lead the development and execution of strategic brand collaborations, sponsorships, and venue partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sponsorship sales, business development, and relationship management, with a demonstrated ability to secure both brand and venue deals that elevate our events and strengthen our presence in key markets.

This individual will work closely with the Head of Outreach and executive team to build revenue-generating opportunities that align with POST UP NYC’s brand ethos and audience. This is a commission-based role with high upside for top performers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy to drive revenue across all POST UP NYC events and brand activations.
• Identify and close new brand partnership opportunities through proactive outreach and a deep network of contacts across relevant industries.
• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with brand sponsors, ensuring value alignment, fulfillment of deliverables, and ongoing satisfaction.
• Collaborate internally to develop compelling sponsorship decks, media kits, and activation concepts tailored to prospective partners.
• Lead all phases of sponsorship negotiation, from initial pitch to contract execution, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Proactively identify and secure venue partnerships that align with POST UP NYC’s aesthetic, audience, and operational needs.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging partnership models to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Track and report on sales pipeline, closed deals, revenue projections, and post-event performance metrics.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, business development, or event marketing - preferably in the live events, nightlife, or entertainment industry.
• Demonstrated success in closing high-value sponsorship and/or venue partnership deals.
• Established network of brand, agency, and venue contacts across NYC, Miami and beyond.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with an ability to clearly articulate value propositions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for nightlife, music culture, and creative event production.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple deal cycles simultaneously.
