Director of Amazon (Amazon Seller & Vendor, Remote)
Position Summary:
The Director of Amazon will lead a team of 8-12 brand managers and specialists, overseeing the management of 10-15 brands. This position focuses on high-level strategy, people management, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, with a background in consumer packaged goods... (CPG) and experience managing large advertising budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of 8-12 brand managers and specialists.
Oversee the management and growth of 10-15 brands on Amazon.
Develop and implement high-level strategies to drive brand success and market expansion.
Act as a people manager, providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
Manage client relationships at an executive level, including contract maintenance and renewal.
Ensure the team meets and exceeds performance goals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
Utilize Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central to drive brand success.
Manage large advertising budgets (brand, product, display, DSP) up to $1M.
Promote a data-driven approach to account management and strategic decision-making.
Teach and coach team members to enhance their skills and promote career growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a brand manager with a strong track record of success.
In-depth technical knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central.
Strong understanding of CPG and experience managing large ad budgets.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute high-level strategies.
Exceptional people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to maintain executive-level engagements.
