Director, Income Tax

The Director, Income Tax will be an integral part of the corporate tax team, overseeing global tax compliance and reporting, domestic tax planning, process improvements, and various initiatives. Primary Responsibilities Lead quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations, forecast, and disclosures; manage communication with senior leadership and auditors Lead global income tax compliance and documentation of tax positions, including federal, state, and international Lead federal and state income tax planning and audits, including correspondence with tax authorities Oversee domestic indirect tax compliance, planning, and audits Manage process improvement initiatives Analyze and communicate the tax implications of business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions Develop and mentor team members Performs other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of ASC 740, income tax laws, and the ability to research tax issues Experience managing tax audits Experience working with tax software, financial reporting tools, and data analytic tools Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change Qualifications Master’s degree in accounting/taxation or equivalent preferred Certified Public Accountant Big 4 public accounting experience preferred 12+ years of related experience in tax 8+ years of management experience The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job. The annual base pay for this position is: $185,829.00 - $278,743.00 F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
