Role summary:
As a GMP Lead, you will act as the US subject matter expert for Google Marketing Platform, ensuring deep technical expertise, consistent ways of working and strong partnership alignment across our client base.
You are responsible for how GMP capabilities are applied across client engagements, ensuring platforms are implemented, optimized and leveraged to support effective marketing outcomes.
Working closely with global leadership and support teams, you bring consistency in standards, share best practices and ensure US client needs are reflected in the evolution of our GMP approach and partnerships.
You partner with client teams, marketing intelligence and activation specialists to ensure GMP platforms are used effectively within broader marketing strategies, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting and expertise where required.
As the central point of expertise, you stay ahead of platform developments, strengthen relationships with Google and other partners, and ensure Incubeta remains at the forefront of GMP capability and delivery.
Responsibilities:Technical Leadership & Deliveryâ˘Act as the senior escalation point for complex GMP-related challenges, particularly across DV360 and CM360â˘Provide hands-on support across key client work, troubleshooting platform issues and guiding solutionsâ˘Maintain a strong working knowledge across the broader GMP stack (SA360, GA4, etc.)â˘Lead by example, actively contributing to delivery rather than operating purely at a distanceTeam Leadership & Capability Buildingâ˘Lead and develop a team of experienced GMP practitionersâ˘Build a more scalable and resilient capability, reducing reliance on individual specialistsâ˘Design and implement structured upskilling initiatives across the GMP stackâ˘Mentor senior team members and support their development in both technical and client-facing areasCommercial & Operational Ownershipâ˘Own the P&L for the GMP function, including forecasting, planning, and performance trackingâ˘Identify opportunities to increase platform adoption, usage, and revenue contributionâ˘Drive operational improvements to support scalability, efficiency, and consistency across clientsâ˘Contribute to the broader commercial success of the Market Intelligence functionSales & Growth Enablementâ˘Partner closely with sales and growth teams to support new business opportunitiesâ˘Lead the development of technical proposals and solution design for GMP-related pitchesâ˘Help position GMP as a strategic growth driver, not just a delivery functionâ˘Support cross-sell and upsell opportunities across existing clientsCross-Functional Collaborationâ˘Work closely with media, strategy, sales, and data science teams to deliver integrated solutionsâ˘Ensure GMP capability is aligned with broader marketing intelligence and effectiveness strategiesâ˘Contribute to a more connected, less siloed approach across the businessPartnership & Innovationâ˘Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Google GMPâ˘Stay at the forefront of new platform developments, features, and industry changesâ˘Drive adoption of new capabilities (e.g. privacy-first solutions, automation, AI-led features)Requirements:Certification and/or LicensesGoogle Certifications in Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360 and Display & Video 360, and Google Analytics, and ideally, one or more Google Cloud CertificationsExperience - functional/industry/client/project knowledgeâ˘A minimum of 10 yearsâ experience within the digital agency industry.â˘Well-versed in performance marketing, yielding results for clientsâ investments, i.e. sales/lead conversion and omni-channel acquisitionâ˘Experience in working directly with clients & commercial teamsâ˘Experience presenting and pitching for business with strong presentation skillsâ˘Experience with using data connectors to enable data/signal integration and enrichment that drive marketing efficiencyâ˘Very strong knowledge of Pmax, Value Based Bidding, and other Google tools & capabilitiesâ˘Conversant/knowledgeable of product data feeds, and preferably one or two feed products (eg. Feedonomics) â˘Illustrate strong relationships with Technology partners; Google, Meta, publishers etc.Demonstrated Competenciesâ˘Experience in working directly with clients & commercial teamsâ˘Experience presenting and pitching for business with strong presentation skillsâ˘Clear understanding of digital commercial modelsâ˘Experience with data analysis & reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics; Looker.â˘Ideally, experience with GCP tools (e.g. BQ, BQML, Vertex AI, etc.)â˘Familiarity with measurement plans & tracking
US Salary range: $160,000 - $190,000 plus bonus potential. Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time based on individual and company performance. However, the initial salary offer is based on several factors such as the individual's location, relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
