Data is key to our organization and we’re looking for someone passionate about data to join our growing technology team. The Director, Data will be responsible for our data and the data strategy to drive business outcomes. You will develop data policies, procedures, and own all aspects of data across the organization including collection, management and secure storage.
Essential Job Functions for the Director, Data will include:
Thorough understanding of our business, data strategy, and using data to drive business outcomes
Designing and implementing data strategies and systems
Creating and maintaining optimal data architecture
Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional & non-functional business requirements
Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
Building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using relevant technologies
Working with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Being the data steward with a strong data governance program and to secure the data and ensure data privacy
Working with our analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
Building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
Enterprise workflow orchestration Cloud ELT Five Tran
Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Data Engineering is required
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases is required
Experience working with SQL Server, Python
Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets is required
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement is required
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Knowledge of Salesforce data structure is preferred
Knowledge of working in Azure and AWS is preferred
Working Conditions: Professional office environment. Working inside. Standing and sitting. Will be assigned to a workstation. Benefits:
