Director Corporate Development

Director Corporate Development Remote base - preferably based on the East Coast United States, but will consider European locations. Our client are a PE backed biologics CDMO with over 200 employees committed to driving innovation in the bioprocessing industry. In support of their growth aspirations, our partner is looking to appoint a Director of Corporate Development to lead M&A efforts and make a significant contribution to their strategic growth targets. This individual will be pivotal in originating opportunities, identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisitions, supporting financial strategies, and offering guidance to our executive team and board. Key responsibilities include: Lead M&A processes, from target identification to post-acquisition integration. Advise the executive team and Board on growth opportunities and market trends. Drive competitive analysis and contribute to strategic planning efforts. Provide support with financial modeling, funding negotiations and strategic initiatives when needed. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of experience from within investment banking, corporate development, or M&A with a speciality in healthcare or life sciences. With a strong eye for business generation, candidates will have exceptional commercial acumen, be highly analytical, and posses excellent communication and presentation skills. Adept at negotiation and influencing, we would expect candidates to have experience in private equity-backed environments.
