Director Business Development – Digital Marketing Services
Compensation: $110,000–$140,000 base + uncapped commission + benefits Location: Remote (U.S.-based) The Role This is a pure business development and sales leadership role. We are not looking for a marketer. Not a strategist. Not a campaign manager. Not a CMO. Not a founder. Not an agency owner. We are hiring a proven digital marketing services sales expert. If your background is mostly managing campaigns, leading creative teams, or "aligning with sales," this role is not a fit. This role is about new business. Prospecting. Pipeline-building. Contract negotiation. Account ownership. Your job is to find the right clients, earn their trust, and close. This role is fully remote. About SocioSquares Founded in 2011, SocioSquares is a results-driven digital marketing agency focused on legal marketing. We help law firms grow their caseloads through SEO, PPC, lead generation, web development, and social media marketing. We are not a generalist agency that happens to work with lawyers. Law firm marketing is what we do. Our clients are attorneys and managing partners who need more cases, and we deliver measurable results through data-backed strategies, AI-powered SEO, and campaigns built for the legal industry. Our team operates across the U.S. and India, with headquarters in the Greater Houston area. We move fast, hold ourselves to high standards, and we are growing. About You You have personally closed deals. Carried a quota. Built revenue from scratch. You know how to sell SEO, SEM, PPC, web development, and lead generation services because you've actually done it. Minimum 5 years of sales experience inside a digital marketing agency. This is a requirement, not a preference. This “player-coach” role is focused on building and managing the sales pipeline and converting leads into customers. ● Take ownership of the sales function for the US operations of SocioSquares Digital agency business. ● Recruit, lead, and coach Sales Development Representatives/Appointment setters and develop their sales skills to build the sales pipeline. ● Set and ensure that the sales targets for the team are met. ● Work closely with the Marketing Demand Generation team, servicing teams to achieve/exceed new client and revenue quota objectives. ● Develop and execute sales strategies and deliver effective sales presentations with passion for your clients ● Become an expert in all SocioSquares products, solutions, and systems ● Follow up with leads/clients to build a trusted advisor relationship ● Diligently update the company CRM and ensure updates from the entire sales team on a weekly basis. The Opportunity • Base salary: $110,000–$140,000 depending on experience • Commission: Uncapped.
