Back To Openings Direct Support Professional/Caregiver - Home Based Care in Wayne County, PA Department: Caregiver/Direct Support Professional Location: Honesdale, PA START YOUR APPLICATION Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Various Hours Available Serving Clients in Wayne County, PA $1,000 Signing Bonus | $15.00�$20.00/HR Abound Health is hiring compassionate, reliable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Wayne County, with positions available in Honesdale, Lake Ariel, Hawley, Tobyhanna, Waymart, and surrounding communities. Full and Part Time Hours Available! About the Role As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support in clients� homes and communities. Your work helps individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others. Key Responsibilities Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development Assist with recreational and community activities Follow treatment plans and document progress Provide companionship and respite care Submit documentation and payroll on time Participate in ongoing training Assist with personal care needs as required Work independently in home and community settings What We�re Looking For Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD Ability to work independently and responsibly Must have a valid driver�s license and active car insurance Open-minded and comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass background checks Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed Compensation $15.00�$20.00 per hour $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates Schedule Various hours, flexible scheduling Morning, afternoon, or evening shifts available Experience 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (not required�training provided) Benefits Weekly pay Flexible scheduling Paid onboarding Competitive wages Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) available based on hours worked Signing Bonus Details $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week) $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week) $334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours/week) Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires.
