Job description

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the ongoing maintenance and modification of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud interface, with a focus on automation journeys. This includes managing data extensions, creating and modifying SQL scripts, and ensuring seamless integration with Sales Cloud data.
• Expertise in SQL to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize data extensions and automation workflows within SFMC. Expertise in SQL is crucial to address a key road map item - connections to CMS/FMS, which will rely heavily on SQL scripting for marketing automation.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, ensuring the efficient execution of email marketing campaigns. Stay updated with the latest features and best practices to enhance our marketing efforts.
• Understand and manage the integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud. Ensure that data flows smoothly between the two systems to support targeted and effective marketing campaigns.
• Provide support for any issues related to SFMC, including troubleshooting technical problems and optimizing existing processes. This role currently lacks ongoing support, so proactive problem-solving is essential.
• Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective marketing automation solutions within SFMC. Collaborate on the development and execution of new marketing strategies that leverage SFMC and Sales Cloud.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of email marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL scripting within SFMC.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud, particularly in managing automation journeys and data extensions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently to resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience utilizing tools such as JIRA, Asana, LucidChart, Confluence, Workbench, and Gearset
• Experience with EDA architecture and/or sales force solutions as applied to educational institutions
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification is a plus

The salary range for this role is $110/k-$115/k. For corp-to corp rates, please contact recruiter.
