Digital Transformation Consultant (Strategy, Systems & Innovation) - Contract to Hire

Overview We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Consultant to help us assess opportunities, define initiatives, and support execution across a broad digital transformation mandate. This role is initially exploratory and strategic. The right candidate will help identify high-impact digital initiatives, shape project roadmaps, and advise on implementation across technology, processes, and people. This is a consulting-led engagement with potential to evolve into longer-term project delivery. Scope of Work The consultant will work with our leadership team to: •Assess digital transformation opportunities across multiple domains • Identify and prioritize potential projects based on impact, feasibility, and readiness • Develop high-level digital transformation roadmaps and implementation plans • Advise on modern digital architectures, platforms, and tools • Recommend governance, operating models, and change management approaches • Support early-stage solution design and vendor/technology evaluation • Provide strategic input on data, automation, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital services Specific projects will be defined collaboratively after an initial discovery phase. Potential Areas of Focus Depending on findings, projects may include (but are not limited to): • Digital strategy and enterprise transformation • Business process digitization and automation • Data platforms, analytics, and dashboards • Cloud migration and systems modernization • Digital service design and user experience • Enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, workflow tools) • Cybersecurity and digital risk frameworks • Change management and capability building Ideal Candidate Profile • 8+ years experience in digital transformation, technology consulting, or enterprise IT strategy • Proven experience leading or advising on large-scale digital initiatives • Strong strategic thinking with hands-on delivery experience • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and define problems as well as solutions • Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive teams • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Comfortable operating as a trusted advisor Nice to Have • Experience across multiple industries or large organizations • Background in consulting firms, systems integrators, or transformation programs • Experience working in emerging markets or complex environments • Familiarity with agile delivery and product-led approaches Engagement Details • Engagement Type: Consultant / Advisor • Initial Term: Short-term discovery phase (with potential extension) • Time Commitment: Flexible (part-time initially) • Location: Remote • Start: Immediate or near-term How to Apply Please include: 1.
