About the position The Digital Marketing Strategist / Communications Manager at Cox Media plays a crucial role in achieving revenue goals by collaborating with sales representatives and engaging directly with clients to understand their advertising strategies and objectives. This position focuses on developing tailored marketing solutions that leverage Cox Media's diverse product offerings, including digital and linear media, to meet client needs and drive campaign success. The role requires a strong emphasis on digital advertising solutions and involves regular client interactions throughout the sales process, from understanding client needs to campaign implementation and analysis. Responsibilities • Engage with clients in-person to understand their business goals and objectives. , • Translate client goals into actionable performance KPIs for campaign planning. , • Lead brainstorming sessions to create strategies using Cox Media's product portfolio. , • Identify effective digital channels for proposals, including streaming video and paid social. , • Develop compelling presentation materials that articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions. , • Create strategic advertising solutions in response to RFPs using data and insights. , • Present strategies and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. , • Design and support the implementation of approved campaigns with key partners. , • Act as a point of contact for centralized Media Planners during campaign development. , • Analyze campaign results and provide actionable insights to clients. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. , • Ability to think strategically and translate client advertising goals into solutions with positive ROI. , • Proven experience in digital media advertising and ability to articulate complex concepts. , • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. , • Proficient in PowerPoint and storytelling for client presentations. Nice-to-haves • Degree in a related discipline strongly desired. , • Experience with multiple Demand Side Platforms and Google Ads. , • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Google Analytics. , • Experience with pixel strategy development and conversion tracking. , • Experience in e-commerce or consumer-focused industries. , • Certifications in digital marketing platforms.
