Digital Marketing Specialist
Digital Marketing, Content & Social Media Specialist (AI SEO + WordPress)
Location: Full-time, in-office – Freehold, NJ
Salary: $50,000 base + opportunity to earn up to $30,000+ in performance bonuses
We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our content creation and social media growth, while also supporting SEO and website optimization. You’ll be at the center of producing engaging content, building our online brand, and ensuring our website is performing at its best.
Key Responsibilities
• Content Creation & Social Media (Primary Focus)
• Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Create high-quality short-form videos, reels, and graphics using CapCut, Canva, Metricool, Fimora and other editing tools.
• Repurpose website/blog content into social-friendly formats.
• Track performance and engagement to improve reach and conversion.
• Actively collect and manage 5-star customer reviews.
• Pitch and secure features in “Best Of” lists, blogs, and local media.
• Write and distribute press releases about customer success stories, awards, and new services.
• Actively engage and comment on social media platforms to stay relevant on other pages.
• Website & SEO Support (Secondary Focus)
• Update and maintain our WordPress site for speed, mobile optimization, and user experience.
• Assist with SEO tasks, including keyword research, audits, and reporting using BrightLocal and SEMRush.
• Help create SEO-friendly blog posts, service pages, FAQs, and other website content.
• Manage local listings (Google Business, Yelp, Bing) and monitor online reviews.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in content creation and social media management. Portfolio work appreciated.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
• Strong skills in CapCut, Canva, Metricool, Filmora and other editing platforms.
• Proficiency in WordPress with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with SEO tools like BrightLocal and SEMRush (or willingness to learn).
• Strong copywriting skills for both social and web content.
• Bonus: basic HTML/CSS, graphic design, or video editing experience.
