Digital Marketing Specialist
Job Overview The client is looking for a skilled and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong background in the travel industry. This role is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that attract, engage, and convert customers across multiple online platforms. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, with the ability to produce compelling content while leveraging data insights to continuously optimize performance and drive brand growth. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Management Develop, curate, and manage content across digital platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, and email campaigns Create engaging, informative, and visually appealing content focused on travel destinations, experiences, and tips Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and compelling promotion of travel products and services Social Media Management Plan and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content scheduling, posting, and community engagement Monitor trends within the travel industry to keep content fresh, relevant, and competitive SEO & Content Optimization Implement SEO best practices to improve search rankings and increase organic website traffic Conduct keyword research and optimize website content, blog posts, and metadata Continuously refine content strategies based on performance data and search trends Email Marketing & CRM Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and automated customer journeys Segment audiences to deliver personalized and targeted messaging Monitor and optimize email performance metrics such as open rates and conversions Paid Advertising Plan, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and social media channels Monitor campaign performance and optimize for maximum return on investment (ROI) Conduct A/B testing to improve ad effectiveness Analytics & Reporting Track and analyze key performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and platform insights Prepare regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations Use data to inform decisions and improve overall marketing strategies Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Support teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals Coordinate with external partners or agencies when required Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the travel industry Strong knowledge of SEO, content marketing, social media management, and email marketing Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Canva, Mailchimp (or similar CRM platforms), and scheduling tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications In-depth understanding of travel industry trends and customer behavior Experience with A/B testing, landing page optimization, and conversion strategies Familiarity with CRM systems, audience segmentation, and retargeting techniques Ideal Candidate Profile Creative thinker with strong storytelling abilities Data-driven and results-oriented Proactive, adaptable, and highly organized Passionate about travel and digital marketing Committed to continuous learning and improvement
