Digital Artist (Remote)

Digital Artist Job Summary: We are looking for a Digital Artist who is a highly skilled 3D generalist and who can build conceptual imagery for ideation and visualization of Apple’s global marketing materials. We craft meaningful materials by collaborating with extraordinary design community, including Maya Visual Designers who specialize in high-end product imagery and animation. In this role, you will collaborate with our image creation studio to develop and finalize our work in specific formats. Key Qualifications: • You have 10+ years of experience in a 3D computer graphics production environment. • You are an authority on 3D Visualization using Maya (or equivalent 3D apps) with an emphasis in light-ing for hard surfaces. • You portfolio displays an excellent eye for light, color, composition, form, and design. • You display a deep understanding of all aspects of 3D content creation, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation. • You are highly proficient in Nuke, Photoshop, and After Effects. • You have experience with Houdini and simulations and creative retouching. • You can build tools and plug-ins with scripting languages like Python and C+. • You possess excellent interpersonal skills when working with art directors and creatives on a precise visual style. • You show excellent attention to detail and a real passion for quality and the pursuit of artistic excellence. • You are organized, self-motivated, and learn in a dynamic environment. • You have an extraordinary sense of taste and an ability to adapt to a variety of visual styles, as well as a deep technical understanding of Maya • You should also be a dedicated and independent artist, able to adapt to ever-changing situations with creativity and innovation and work in ambiguity while still delivering results on time. Description: • You will be an integral part of the concept art team working on conceptual visualization projects across various media channels. • You will work on a broad spectrum of styles from highly detailed product ads to brand identity. • You will work to explore these concepts in still and motion campaigns and architectural visualization. • We are passionate about ability to building impactful, exciting imagery with speed and precision. • We work in an environment that emphasizes precision, problem-solving, organization, and highly developed interpersonal skills.
