Dietitian Telehealth

This is a remote position. About us Shapely, a physician-led telehealth weight loss company, is seeking a motivated and passionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team. With our evidence-based care, industry-leading support, and a seamless integrated app, we're pioneering a new approach in weight loss that helps patients achieve long-lasting, sustainable weight loss. As an RDN at Shapely, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals on their weight loss journey through telehealth services. You will provide direct consultations to patients, craft educational content for clients, and utilize templates and educational materials to guide patients toward their weight loss goals. The ideal candidate is not only dedicated to improving health outcomes but also technologically savvy and enthusiastic about our holistic approach to weight loss. Requirements Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification. Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary guidelines, and weight loss strategies. Experience in supporting clients with weight loss Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Technologically savvy and comfortable with telehealth platforms. Motivated, compassionate, and dedicated to improving health outcomes. Preference: Flexibility to transition to full-time as the company grows. Preference: Experience working with senior patient population Preference: Experience serving clients who are on GLP-1 medications What you'll do Conduct one-on-one telehealth consultations with patients to assess their dietary needs, create personalized nutrition plans, and monitor their weight loss progress. Create handouts, blogs, and other educational materials to enhance patient education related to weight loss. Utilize templates and other educational materials to provide direct patient education on nutrition during video sessions. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including providers, to provide comprehensive care and support. Document patient interactions, progress, and recommendations in our electronic health record (EHR) in accordance with company standards. Benefits 1099 independent contractor role with competitive hourly pay. Compensation is hourly and tied to available clinical hours per week to ensure predictable, reliable pay. Rates are as follows: - Follow-up visits: $60/hour - Initial visits: $40/hour - Cancellations and no-shows (within available hours): $40/hour Flexible, fully remote work — see patients from home on your schedule.
