DevOps Engineer - Remote Jobs for Freshers & Experienced
Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking dynamic and talented DevOps Engineers to join our remote team. This role is an excellent opportunity for freshers and experienced professionals who are passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, and the seamless integration of development and operations. The successful candidate will work on optimizing workflows, managing CI/CD pipelines, and improving the scalability and performance of cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• * Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
• * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• * Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to deploy and maintain applications.
• * Automate system and application deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• * Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalability and security.
• * Conduct system performance tuning and ensure availability of critical infrastructure.
• * Document processes, workflows, and solutions to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• * Strong knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• * Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.).
• * Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• * Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• * Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience
• * Freshers: Candidates with relevant internships or project experience in DevOps are encouraged to apply.
• * Experienced: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role or related position is preferred.
• Working Hours
• * Full-time role with flexible remote working hours.
