DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build and support the platform that powers our restaurant technology. If you’ve got a couple years of experience under your belt, love tinkering with CI/CD pipelines, and get excited about Kubernetes and containers, you’ll fit right in. What You'll Do In this role, you’ll get hands-on with the tools and systems that keep our platform humming. From building out CI/CD pipelines to wrangling containerized workloads, you’ll help automate, scale, and stabilize the infrastructure behind our products. You’ll work closely with software developers to make sure code flows smoothly from laptop to production, while also keeping an eye on performance, reliability, and all the little details that make a big difference in production environments. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable software delivery Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools Monitor and improve system performance, availability, and reliability in cloud-based environments Support and maintain Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration systems Collaborate with development team to streamline code deployment and integration processes Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to builds, deployments, and infrastructure Participate in incident response and postmortem processes to improve platform resilience Contribute to the design and implementation of internal platform services used by engineering teams Maintain and enhance automation scripts and tooling (primarily with shell scripting on Linux systems) What You Bring Position Requirements: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and experience with any CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) Solid experience (2+ years) with Docker and Kubernetes Proficiency in shell scripting and working in Linux environments Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Heroku) Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset geared toward automation and reliability Eagerness to learn, grow, and collaborate in a fast-paced engineering environment Bonus Points: Familiarity with APM instrumentation and interpreting telemetry in DataDog Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Ansible) Familiarity with coding in Javascript and/or Go Hospitality/restaurant industry experience (you’ll speak our customers' language!)
