Overview
We're seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and help scale our infrastructure to match Horizons rapid growth. If you thrive in a fast pace environment and are passionate about building highly reliable infrastructures, we invite you to explore the opportunity below.
Responsibilities


Ensure availability, reliability and security of Horizons SaaS platform


Define metrics to measure the quality of our services and fight to improve them constantly


Leverage Infrastructure as Code to automate infrastructure deployment and management


Forecast the load on production components and plan capacity accordingly


Understand and fix production incidents, take actions to ensure they won’t happen twice


Contribute to disaster recovery plans and train for operational readiness


Support Engineering Squads in seamlessly integrating their code within our infrastructure


Requirements


Minimum of 5 years in a Software Development role and at least 3 years as a DevOps or SRE


Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration Management


Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go


Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes


Experience with Cloud Platforms, preferably AWS


Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI


Experience with professional or open-source monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Data Dog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK


Professional proficiency in written and spoken English


Preferred Skills


Experience working on public software product, preferably a SaaS platform


Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform


Experience with security best practices in a DevOps environment


Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills


Ability to work autonomously with little to no supervision


Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends
