The Team
Our On-Prem engineering team is responsible for the deployment of Arize in customer environments. In addition to working with customers in defining infrastructure requirements, the team designs and develops software and tooling that enables the management of these systems at large scale. The On-Prem team has grown to be expert in Kubernetes and cloud deployment on GCP, Azure, and AWS as well as dealing with networking and security aspects of on-premise deployments. The team is dynamic and relies on few talented individuals with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
What You’ll Do
Work hands-on with the infrastructure that supports our distributed & highly scalable services in both SaaS and on-prem offerings
Gather requirements from customers and adapt manifests and software to support new environments
Use and augment monitoring tools to observe platform health, ensure performance and reliability
Interact with the product team to test new features and package new on-prem releases
Automate and optimize the release pipeline to make it as frictionless as possible
Exhibit continuous curiosity for emerging technology that could solve our challenges
What We’re Looking For
1-2+ years experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, and system administration
CS (preferred) or other technical degree, or equivalent practical experience
Experience working with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and Chef
Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and bash
Experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
Expertise in Linux administration, configuration, and networking protocols
Bonus Points, But Not Required
Experience with on-prem deployment architectures
Experience running a 24x7 SaaS platform with defined SLI, SLO, SLA
Familiarity with operating machine learning & AI applications

The Team
Our Finance team is looking for a dynamic individual to help execute our accounting policies and processes so that we can meet our financial growth goals. This role will report to the Accounting Manager, and will also work closely with our Head of Finance, Finance Manager and team leads to ensure that our books are kept up to date and accurate for quick decision making and reporting. This role must be extremely detail oriented, efficient and have a deep understanding of GAAP. This role will be ever changing and will require the candidate to be adaptable and open-minded.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparing and recording journal entries and preparing account reconciliations for a variety of accounts, including accruals, prepaids, cash, A/R, revenue, etc.
Managing accounts receivables and accounts payables invoice processing
Ensuring a smooth audit process by performing internal controls, maintaining immaculate record keeping, and assisting in the audit process
Assist in preparing required support for annual tax filings and help maintain general tax compliance throughout the year (sales tax, 1099s, etc.)
As the the team and accounting processes grow, assist in developing and updating thorough documentation of all processes
Support special projects and analyses as needed by the Finance team
What We’re Looking For
2-5 years of related experience in Accounting related function in an evolving and high growth environment
Big 4 experience and CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Willingness and ability to learn general ledger responsibilities as needs arise
Strong technical skills and knowledge of GAAP. Experience with SaaS accounting and reporting (ARR), ASC 606: Revenue Recognition, ASC 340-40: Capitalized Contract Costs, and ASC 718: Stock-Based Compensation a plus
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with Quickbooks a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and at different levels within and outside the organization
Ability to prioritize, work independently and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential matters
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $100,000 - $185,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is determined based upon a variety of job related factors that may include: transferable work experience, skill sets, and qualifications. Total compensation also includes a comprehensive benefit package, including: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, unlimited paid time off, generous parental leave plan, and others for mental and wellness support.
While we are a remote-first company, we have opened offices in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, as an option for those in those cities who wish to work in-person. For all other employees, there is a WFH monthly stipend to pay for co-working spaces.
