Development Consultant

We are seeking a driven and experienced Development Consultant to drive our companys growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing business relationships, negotiating and closing business deals. Development Consultant responsibilities include understanding the needs of potential clients, crafting tailored solutions, and delivering compelling presentations. Our ideal candidate has a keen business acumen and a proven record of successful business development initiatives. Ultimately, the role of the Development Consultant is to expand our client base and increase our shelter services portfolio. Responsibilities Developing growth strategies and plans Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs Researching business opportunities and viable income streams Following industry trends locally and internationally Drafting and reviewing contracts Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements Negotiating with stakeholders Networking with industry professionals and potential clients to drive brand awareness Arranging business meetings with prospective clients Promoting the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives Qualifications Proven experience in business development or a related field Experience in sales, marketing, or related field Strong communication skills and IT fluency Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task Excellent organizational skills Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty BSc degree in Business, Marketing or related field Benefits Professional development opportunities Additional Information Job Title: Development Consultant Work Environment: Office setting with options for remote work. Some travel may be required for client meetings or networking events. Reporting Structure: Reports to the CEO Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
