Developer Relations Engineer, Earth Engine @ Google

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical experience. Experience in developer relations or developer advocacy. Experience with satellite image processing and analysis. Experience with JavaScript. Preferred qualifications: 3 years of experience as a technical practitioner in a developer community. Experience working with cross-functional (e.g., Engineering, Product Management, Program Management, etc.) and across organizational teams. Experience in building, applying, and testing ML models with Earth Observation imagery, and familiarity with geospatial machine learning and AI. Experience and knowledge in Data science. Knowledge of coding with Python. Familiarity with REDD+ frameworks, and MRV processes, including those that involve Earth Engine (e.g., OpenForis). Chrome, Android, App Engine, HTML5 as well as our core Google Apps and Ads APIs are just some of the platforms you promote and support.With your technical expertise, you drive strategy around fostering a community of developers who work with Google technologies.
