As a Detection & Investigative Analyst Lead within PNC's Fraud Detection & Remediation organization, you can be based across the PNC footprint. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations. Responsibilities • Reviews and investigates customer cases, reports and work for potential and actual loss. • Minimizes fraud, Anti-Money Laundering and/or organizational risk. • Performs early detection of suspicious activity. • Controls and prevents losses. • May lead the work of and/or train detection and investigation staff. • Researches and analyzes bank activities and reports to detect and prevent possible fraudulent and suspicious activities. • Recommends disposition. • Identifies gaps and control enhancements. • Uses defined research procedures to identify and resolve issues. • Identifies trends and escalates as appropriate. • Follows standards and practices to mitigate fraud, Anti-Money Laundering and other risk exposure and loss. • Shares best practices among the team and/or service partners. • Prepares and maintains appropriate documentation of analysis performed and coordinates with internal or external stakeholders as appropriate. Requirements • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role. • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
