Detailed Power BI Developer To Maintain Data Models and Measures using DAX and Power Query - Contract to Hire

Responsibilities for this role will be to:

- Design and develop data models that support business reporting and analytics needs.

- Create and maintain relationships between tables to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to user requirements.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.

- Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.

- Implement data transformation and integration processes using Power Query and related tools.

- Provide ongoing support, documentation, and training to end-users and team members.

Requirements include:

- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role in data analytics.

- Strong expertise in data modeling concepts including star and snowflake schemas.

- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX programming.

- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, and writing optimized SQL queries.

- Ability to design and maintain complex relationships between datasets.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
