NOTE: This is a temporary, full-time freelance role for 3-6 months with potential to extend. Candidates may work remote (US only) as long as they are available during normal business hours, Eastern Time Zone, out of consideration for our team and client. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available. Freelancers will be engaged on a temporary basis via W-2; 1099/contractor/vendor status is not an option.
Designers play essential roles in the strategy, conception and design of beautiful ideas, products and services. We are searching for a Visual Designer who is primarily a Product Visual Designer with strong complementary UX capabilities. They will bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
2-4 years of experience, agency setting preferred
Implement a combination of strategic, conceptual and design skills
Create and manage original, persuasive, conceptual and visually compelling work
Skilled in establishing and maintaining visual design systems
Experienced in creating and deploying tokenized components for scalable design
Adept at utilizing AI tools to inform and streamline their design process, from research to prototyping
Inspire and provide mentorship, embracing challenges and new ways of thinking
Collaborate with the client and various teams within AKQA

Anticipated weekly pay range between $2,000 - $2,600
