The Mission Mark Kelly for Senate is the campaign organization for Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona. Re-elected to a six-year term in 2022 after a ground-breaking win in the 2020 special election, Senator Kelly is a proven leader in the Senate and an independent voice for Arizonans. Mark Kelly for Senate is continuing to build its team by hiring a full-time Deputy Finance Director to support the campaign’s fundraising operations. The Opportunity This role will report to the Finance Director and work closely with finance consultants and finance staff. They will assist the Finance Director in managing the Finance Department and supervising staff, including supporting hiring, team management, and programmatic oversight of the events, call time, regional fundraising, and stewardship programs. Duties Work with the Finance Director to grow and scale the campaign’s fundraising operation in accordance with the finance plan. Assist in the supervision and management of members of the finance team and the implementation of new systems and processes. Manage and own relationships with major donors and stakeholders. Assist in hiring t of the finance team. Oversee and collaborate with program managers to help them meet and exceed programmatic goals. Staff fundraising events and meetings. Other responsibilities as necessary. Qualifications Required: 2+ cycles of campaign fundraising experience. Prior experience managing full-time staff. Prior event planning and donor maintenance experience. Prior experience in accurately creating finance projections. Dedicated to building a strong and inclusive team culture. Tremendous attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset. Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects at the same time. Logistics Level: Deputy Salary: $7,500 monthly, payable through regular payroll. Location: Remote with eventual relocation to Phoenix, AZ. Job Type/Hours: This is a full-time position and its schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
