Dental Receptionist / Front Desk
We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our front office team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations within the practice.
Responsibilities:
? Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive first impression
? Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring accuracy of patient information
? Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage, treatment options, and any out-of-pocket costs
? Schedule patient appointments
? Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding insurance, scheduling, and general information
? Maintain and update patient records and insurance information in the system
? Assist with coordination of care and referrals as necessary
? Ensure a clean and organized front office environment
Qualifications:
? Previous experience in a dental office, with a focus on insurance verification, preferred
? Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance details to patients clearly
? Familiarity with dental insurance plans and benefits
? Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced office
? Proficiency with Dentrix
? Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
? Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
